Berkshire County, Massachusetts college art majors are invited to apply for the 2024 juried Berkshire Art Association College Fellowship Show. $5,000 in fellowship grants will be awarded to college art majors whose work is selected. Submission information can be found at https://baafellowshipshow2024.artcall.org
The call will open on Friday, December 20, 2023, and closes on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 11:59 pm. Submissions can be made beginning December 20, by going to https://baafellowshipshow2024.artcall.org. There is no cost to register and submit. The show will open at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts, 28 Renne Avenue, Pittsfield, MA during the month of April. An award ceremony will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 3-5 pm.
The College Fellowship Show is open to Berkshire County, Massachusetts residents enrolled at the undergraduate level as art majors at any college in the country, as well as non-residents majoring in art at a Berkshire County college; Berkshire Community College, MCLA, Williams, and Simon’s Rock. The Berkshire Art Association Fellowship Show 2024 will beinstalled this April at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts.
The BAA board will award at least $5000 in total to students whose work is selected for the show.The Fellowship money will be distributed amongst these Fellowship Show participants.
The BAA Fellowship is funded in part by the Norman and Rose Avnet Fellowship Endowment, the Feigenbaum Foundation, and supplemental private donations. Additionally, local artists support the Fellowship through their donations of 10x10 inch art to the 10x10 RAP (Real Art Party) which will be held at Clocktower Artist Studios at the Clocktower Business Center in Pittsfield on Thursday, February 22. 2024 as part of the City of Pittsfield’s 10x10 Festival. Ticket sales for this 10x10 event also support the Fellowship Show as well as other projects that benefit secondary school art students in Berkshire County.
