The Boston Pops and Fidelity Investments are looking for talented high school instrumental and vocalists (soloists and ensembles of up to five members) performing music of any genre. Up to four acts will be selected to perform at the June 6, 2023 Boston Pops concert. Meet Past Winners
Winners have the opportunity to work with world-class musicians from the Boston Pops, special guest artists, be assigned a personal coach to help them prepare, and additional coaching from Maestro Keith Lockhart during the live rehearsal for their performance onstage with the Boston Pops. Here’s an example of the final coaching session with Keith and the 2021 special guest artist Christopher Jackson.

And register here to be invited to the Q&A webinar with Dennis Alves, Director of Artist Planning for The Boston Pops to learn about the Fidelity Investments Young Artists Competition. The webinar will take place in early January, and will be an opportunity for applicants, parents/guardians and/or music instructors to hear from Dennis as well as ask questions related to the competition and application process.

Eligibility
Applicants must be full-time students in good standing in grades 9-12 who attend any public, private or parochial high school, or are home school registered in the state of Massachusetts.
Entrants must be legal U.S. residents or in the process of obtaining citizenship and must be in between 13 and 19 years of age as of January 1, 2023.
Entrants must be instrumentalists and/or vocalists performing music of any genre.
